I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in June 2009 with a B.A. in Business Economics, Emphasis in Accounting and a minor in Professional Writing for Business Communication.
Over the course of my college career, I developed valuable professional skills through my internships, classes, and extra-curricular activities. Also, I took advantage of opportunities to give back to my community. I volunteered with K-9 Pals for two years, served on the community service committee of Alpha Kappa Psi, and dedicated my 2009 spring break to helping the community of Galveston, Texas with Hurricane Ike relief work.
Through the Professional Writing minor, I learned new programs and gained proficiency in creating a wide range of business documents. My extensive print portfolio includes brochures, fundraising letters, client consultation memos, business plans, media kits, newsletter articles, press releases, and more. I am currently looking for a job that utilizes my background in accounting and extensive knowledge of professional writing.
